just another thanks for all the cards and letters during my month stay in the hosp. ( well i mean great replays on 6 )you guys really help pass those long hours in rehab.

well now it's been 4 months and am walking with a slight limp, still weak in my left hand and still tense up on hard accelation in the p car. but it,s getting way better(no stalls at all and thats whith a lwf) my golf really sucks hit ***** about three times a week and quite a few 20 yrd chip shots. for u golfers not a shank yet althought i did hit one in the club pool the 1st day. working daily and getting ready fo my irs audit on july 7th(my account is going and sez their will be no probs)

hey guys check your blood pressure my tuner said (well you just over bosted) guess he was correct if i had checked the ol blood i'd be fine today soooooooo check your soon the machine only cost about $40.00 and it's well worth it. believe my if you have a stroke you may be drivin a tip if your lucky..... happy trailes steve p.s this has not helped my spelling at all !!!!

am now on my way to buy some race gas and go for a short drive up hwy 80 towards reno

In addy to checking the BP (mine used to be high before I got back into M Arts) ya need to do cardio 3 times a week. And not that ***** *** walking on the treadmill that all the lazy ******* advocate, but running and supersetting weights/cross fit etc.

I am getting too old to spar anymore, but I make sure I get my heart rate over 80% of VO2 max for 30 minutes at least 3 times week.

 

Love your motivation Steve. Did you hit any swimmers? Take care.

just got back from my cruze up hwy 80 still a fun drive for me starting to feel at home in the p car again. and nope i missed the swimmers,,the hwy is a very nice deversion, one place where i don't have to limp along (now i really know what limp mode is all about) and dr am exo. everydayn no running yet but twice what rehabe wants me to do, am really working on getting my foot stronger, toes will go up with ease but bending them down is a real *****, but it coming thanks again steve

Steve,

A stairmaster will allow you to hold the handles and still stay in an upright weight bearing position. That will get your heart rate up better than a stationary bike.
