Todd, I'm sorry I didn't see you mention how much boost you were running I was running 1.35 bar

 

Ha, right. After noticing the 1.55 bar on the first highway pull, I made the adjustment to 1.4. THose straight pipes i got from TXgold are vicious.

 

Sweet! So glad to hear it Todd. Were they adding that much boost to your otherwise untouched EBC? Sounds like you ruled the scene.

 

Threw on your pipes, didn't touch the EBC and blamo! .15 more bar of boost! I actually had to turn it way down. From 80% gain to 65%. Huge difference.

The turbos just come alive. I see how you ran a 7.5 with your k16's now. Dayum!

 

How do you like the sound?

It got too loud for me on my DD after a while so I put the muffler back on. I will take it off again for Oct!

 

Oh, the sound in the cabin is deafening. These pipes are coming off ASAP and then back on for the Mile as well.

Im looking forward to seeing the sheet... I was so concerned about stopping, I didnt see if I was getting into 60 before shifting into 3rd... which makes me shifting 3 times.

Next time will be faster, and next spring: built bottom end and hairdryer, maybe 2 .

Did you guys miss the weather? I sat under an overpass for an hour in Katy.

Sounds like you ladies had a good time even w/ the 100 degree temps. Was the wind blowing against you?

 

Wind was blowing accross the track. My car said the temp was 102. Not sure what the official track temp was but it was Africa HOT. Track stayed dry while I was there. The rain dances WORKED!
We hit a WALL of rain just before I-10 and HWY 6. We just ran in the HOV lane at 40 mph and the wippers on high.

 

The Cross wind varied on all of my runs ironically enough I think it may have been my second best run of 7.3 where it felt like my car got sideswiped. Really wish I could have sorted out my boost controller issues while I was still at the track. The extra boost certainly made a difference though. Todd maybe we can meet up one night this week weather permitting for a few mexico runs.

Too bad no Supras....those are deadly animals. With the temp and humidity will be tough to hit some good numbers but it's worth the fun for sure. I'm sure you guys will have good results in October. Thanks for sharing Todd!!
