It Lives Again !
It Lives Again !

Just installed my new updated fuel pump. All is good in the world again.
While I was at it, I hooked up my Durametric, and checked. For the first time I have type 1 (about 2500 ign's) and type 2 overrevs (less than 150). Happend iin last 2 hours of use?
I remember now.... the Autocross. Ran hard a lap or two. Came in 3rd too. The only thing that beat my time was a souped up old formula vee, and a dedicated track gt3. I had a lot more power than talent that's for sure.
I cleaned up the car tonight too... didn't need much as it is just sooo perfect. The shape, the fit, the function. It is just such a fantastic car. Great to look at, a little tougher to work on, but I welcome a challange.
Whenever I peruse the net and think about other cars, all I have to do is go out to the shop and stare at this for a few moments, and thoughts of other automistresses fade. I just am infatuated with this car.
Sorry to preach to the choir.

your sig says wiper delete, did you modify your front wipers ? i see your rear wiper is still on the car in the pics
i just deleted my rear wiper, would highly reccomend it, really cleans up the rear of the car, only takes 5 minutes and is easily put back if you want

Good catch. It was an older pic on my photobucket.
I did a diy not too long ago on the rear wiper delete. It's an easy mod. Just a little paint.

i did the same thing the other day, got mine from home cheapo, it fit pretty well, no slack at all, also made a keyhole delete plug as well
painted my rockers and front lip a couple of weeks ago, it visually lowers the car a little, definately one of my favorite mods so far

Hey Buzzm, did you pull the rocker or just mask up everything?
Did you also paint the rear lower grill slat. I think that the sills and slat painted looks really nice.

i pulled the rockers, very easy to do, just a few torx screws on the rockers, rear grills had to be masked off inside and out, well worth it, i'm really happy with the results, so far i dont have any chips or scuffs, i'm sure i will over time but if if starts bothering me i'll just pull them off again and respray

Hey Steve, no sound dif that I can tell, but the look transforms the rear of the car. They are the Fabspeed Big Ovals that I bought from Dan at Vivid. They are pricey, but they are jewels. and look very tough.
Here's another pic I scooped from another members car....

She's a doll to put up with me these last 32 years. Yep... long time. Like the Porsche, she's a keeper.

This was on a roadster run through Watkins Glen Vintage weekend last year. Coming up soon again. Don't miss it!
