Question pagid poll

If you were tired of switching pads back and forth and wanted to just keep the track pads bedded and drive them on the street too, what pads would you use (all things being equal, TT, q month DE, not too hard on rotors, forget about noise issues, etc.)

A). Blue
B). Orange
C). Yellow
D). other

Great poll. Need pads soon, so I'll be watching this one. I used Pagid Blues on my C2 and loved them for both track and street.

JakeMate, love the infant seat on your mod list. (Is it the recaro from Porsche Tequipment or another kind?)

Jasclass, are the RS19 Y the stock GT-3 pad? or is that diff't. How does the RS19 compare to the RS29 (newer yellow)? And are the yellows still friendly to rotors or are they more like the Blacks (RS14)

I think its a Graco or something and actually it doesn't fit in there very well. Was considering getting something else.

I had the Pagid's on my old 993 that I tracked. I think they were blue? Anyway, great pad for stopping the hulk but the downside was dust, and every now and then (particularly when warm and applying light brake pressure) a squealing that would stop traffic. A couple of people even asked how I could let my brakes go so far on Porsche for heaven's sake!

As far as I know there ain't no free lunch, great stopping and antifad just seem to go hand-in-hand with the dust and at least some noise.

Do you have the metal brake lines? I would recommend those for a little bit of extra feel with the upgraded pads.

I do have the metal lines, but honestly, I got those for saving against catastrophic failure of the brake line during a blow out
