Difference between MY 01, 02 and 03?

Well I am going to get rid of the 03 C2 and am looking at a number of 996 TT's - my question is, other than the cup holders and glove box, are their any material differences in engine, drive train, frame or suspension in MY 01, 02, or 03? - thanks Ryan

Short answer is no...I wouldn't let the year determine which one you should get...

Go for color, options, mileage, mods, etc...

Thats what I was told when shopping, but bruce anderson's mkt report in excellence says the 02-on got frame reinforcements to increase torsional(?) stiffness. 25% IIRC. First time I had heard that. If you dig though PET it does show different body panel (rear qtrs/door frames/etc) parts #s for 02s, so looks like hes right.
