Diverter Valve Whistle?

Good afternoon all,
Recently installed a set of Standard Issue diverter valves as part of an K24/18G upgrade.
When first installed these DV's whistled and howled like crazy under boost however now 500 miles later they are barely audible.
Is this of concern or have they merely settled in. I don't think I'm experiencing any boost related issues but of course these big hybrids are already feeling a little "slow".

All thoughts most welcome.

Cheers,

J

My diverters have never whistled and howled under boost. They do make a slight "psst" sound on release of the gas pedal after a hard pull. I have had 3 styles OEM, Bosch Motorsports and Baily and none of them acted the way you described your first 500 miles with new diverters. It sounds like they are working better, now that they are broken in.

The Bosch diverters should not/do not whistle.

The blow off valves on a NOBLE Whistle (you can hear them a mile away)

MY Bailey's let out a very audible pshhhhhhhhhhhhhht (almost like a bullwhip cracking), but that is due to the custom set up that I have and they are mounted
in the rear fenders on the intercoolers so you can hear them inside the car best.

Perhaps you have a hose leak. Mine are completely silent.

Yep.....boost holding steady @ 1.2. That's why I'm raising this question.
Boost had remained the same from when they were new and "howling" and now that they are relatively quiet?

So, since I am pretty sure I need a set of diverters (I'm not making near peak boost) should I go Bailey's or Standard Issue? My gut says Standard Issue and a Samco F-hose while I'm at it. However I do not wish to have to pull them to maintain them - will I have to with either of these? I don't mind whistling or wooshing much

I run a set of Forge DVs on a K16/24 Hybrid set-ups.
Between shifts, when getting off the gas, I get this noise whihc is somewhere between the 'pssssch' described above and a 'deep sigh'. Weird.
I run up to 1.3 bar pressure as of 3rd gear. Car pulls like a freight train.

Question

I expect to be running that much boost as well but currently I'm not getting much over .8 and I'm pretty sure the DVs are the culprit. Question is which to go with and will I be needing to pull them out of that restricted space to maintain them? I supposedly have upgraded Bosch units onboard now but boost has fallen off for no apparent reason and is slow to boost so I believe the DVs or some other leak is at fault. The DVs will be my first step troubleshooting as I'd like to upgrade them anyway. Questions is - which ones? Sneezing, wheezing, and whistling don't both me much although if they blew to atmosphere and had whistles on them I'd object
