According to Kevin both of your Turbos were bad and BEYOND repair.
Kevin did provide tunes back then, there are several on this board that had Kevins tune back in 06, and I am sure he mentioned it, what tuner would not.
well you freely give your opinion when it isn't asked, so I will as well. Plain and simple, Kevin gave you basic instructions, you did not follow them, you paid for it, Kevin, being the nice guy halped you out, you are bitter because it wasn't free, even though you did only buy the turbos, now you go around *****ing it up everytime someone starts a UMW thread.
remember being lean? remember running leaded fuel, both UMW nonos?https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...nnin-lean.html
you have got me mixed up with some else never ran leaded gas, only in my 86t never had a lean prob it is amizeing how things change with time and at this piont i really no longer care, what i have works and my next turbos will be from a different supplier, i only buy from people i trust and like merry christmas and to all a good nite steve
have 100 cell cat from euro pipe why would i use leaded gas??? and just a question how do you know i did not follow instructions??? how do you know any of this info??have a great life but try to remember words can be hateful and harmful always use them carefully

The rest of the facts need to be posted. My wife told you that your package was ready to be picked up (first conversation in the middle of last week).. She also told you that we rely on a secondary package handler that picks up and delivers them to FedEx... There is lag in the system between the time that "we" produce the paperwork/tracking number(11:00PM on the 9th for pickup on the 10th) and get the product (your repaired turbochargers) into the system. My wife also explained that to you. Paperwork generated on Tuesday night with turbochargers going ground from Seattle to you and you receive them today. With the holiday season Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and you get them today ground which included a secondary handler.
As far as the parts that you DIDN'T receive were the check valves.. I didn't send them because I told you three times (which you don't want to hear) you had contaminated oil/supply damage to your bearings to one turbocharger. The bearings were destroyed, the turbine wheel destroyed. Do you remember this post on 6speed which you posted> turbo check valves Like I told you on the phone today, that I will send them to you, but do NOT want you to install them. You response was your 30 year in the Porsche tech said that they are okay, and I told you that when they (turbochargers) fail again he (Steve's tech) can rebuild them>>>the phone when click!!!! And now we see this post.

Man, I'm glad you read that post. There's simply no comparison between the Upsolute Junk and the UMW software tune. Kevin's current list of proven products work very well.
Steve H. I'm sorry that your experience wasn't what mine has been. I didn't want to know the specifics of it, and feel it isn't my business.

I recently get my ECU back from Kevin with his stage 1 reflash, and I have to say the amount of torque it adds is incredible. It pulls extremely hard all the way to redline, the acceleration feels so smooth now. Now my car scares the hell out of anyone who sits in it, especially the GF.
I would highly recommend this tune for anyone who is looking to tune their TTs.
Generally the tune is remote, but my ECU was locked by Upsolute (previous tune that was flashed to stock, which I was unaware of). Since we were unable to remotely tune it, I had to send my ECU to Kevin. He fixed it at no additional charge and overnighted to me at no additional charge. His customer service is unsurpassed.
Quoted horsepower and torque #'s on a 100% stock TT:
430 AWHP
500 lb-ft Torque
Cost: $1295
