Steve, There are always two sides to a story... And I agree with ARD... All a customer has to do is ask Kevin about the particulars of your specific case and they'll hear his side... I don't know them, or want to, but Kevin has always treated me fair and always helped me and my indy out at no sale to Kevin, in the process... He's a good guy, but he is human.

To OP you will love UMW tuning, it is incredible. And Kevins customer service is second to none. some people just have a hard time listening.
This definitely changes things. If you didn't run Kevins tune with his turbos and the recommended check valves and then getting a deal... seriously, what are you expecting?
I've known Kevin for a few years, If there was even a slight doubt it was Kevins bad, he would have been there, I would even go so far to say that I am sure that he was more than clear with his disclaimer to you with this scenario as well.

He treated you more than fair. He told you that check valves were necessary. you also did not have Kevin's tune with Kevins turbos, you should have. Instead you got GIAC.......Then after not listening to Kevin and getting a different tune you burn up both turbos beyond repair and Kevin sends you a new set NOT at full price, not even CLOSE! You got a smokin deal, probably not much more than a hair over his cost. Heck I have seen Kevin buy a set of used in good shape stock K24's for what you paid for his new ones.

Absolutely, and like with any tuner/vender, if you fail to follow the specific directions of the guy who sells you the turbos, and you fail to use his software with his turbos, how can you expect to continue getting support from him? And certainly, I wouldn't expect him to "take care of me" or give me a price break, especially if I'm badmouthing him every chance I got.
It's pretty simple, and crystal clear, well to most of us, anyway.

1. only one turbo went bad.
2 i sent both back for rebuilds the bad one and the good one
3 i did not recieve two new turbos he rebuilt mine
4 the check vs were clean
5 their was no tune by kevin at the time at least he did not tell me off one or i would have bought it
look guyes this was just a bad thing the happened to me and i can't forget it sorry if i offened anyone but as they say it is what it is steve
