overboosting and underboosting...help!

I've had intermittent issues with boost pretty much since I have had this car. It is a 1.0 bar tune but only hits .8-.85 bar even in the cold weather we now have. It will randomly go into limp mode every few weeks for no apparent reason then snap out of it without resetting the battery (and sometimes without even turning the car off). On a rare occassion it will spike up over 1.0 bar but then it goes into limp mode once that happens. I don't know if the overboosting is related or a seperate issue.

Gemballa Turbos (some sort of k16/24), bailey dv's (tested and working), vivid agency power intake, gemballa tune. Can't hear any boost leaks doing a test from the maf area (not off turbos). No visible lines to the wastegates cracked or off.

Datalogs show good timing, ecu is asking for 1.0 bar but car is not getting there, no knock, no codes are being thrown. Car drives fine no rough idle or other symptoms of a maf issue. Does this have to be a boost leak? I'm pretty frustrated at this point, I would love to just go a week with no limp mode, actually hitting correct boost and in general not have to worry about the car running right

Sure sounds like a boost leak. My car behaved like this when it had one. My indy mixes smoke into the air when he pressurizes the system. That helped him find several leaks. There is just so much plumbing!
