E3 Spark plug claim

Has any heard or tested these spark plugs. Is this just another slap chop gimmick? "ya gonna love love my plug, it'll give you the right spark"

They have an interesting claim to produce some more power over typical spark plugs while lowering emissions.

Here is the article in PDF I downloaded from tests done on Horsepower tv show.
http://locodemoto.com/documents/E3plugs.pdf

and here is a link to a short video:
http://www.e3sparkplugs.com/mediacenter.php

Wonder if any of the tuners would take time out to do a back to back dyno of these on our cars to see if there would be any gains.

Don't know the quality, risk, or the longevity of these..

What you guys think??

Did the TV show do the test against identical brand new same heat range plugs at the same gap? <ahem> Often they just put in "new" plugs and wow look power... duh

Ive heard that some of these plugs that act like a MSD in the plug itself aren't terribly reliable. They work great, until they don't work...

Remember, those TV shows are paid for by the sponsors. So if the spark plug company pays enough, no need for a test, it's a great new product.

I didn't pay much attention to it.. I personally would stick with a factory type plug.

If you google on the the subject, you'll see a number of people debating and proving this product wrong on other forums using back to back dyno runs... I had to steer an un-informed friend away from these about 6 months ago, and it took sending him links to the threads with the data to clear up the lies in the commercials.

With the millions if not billions of dollars spent in R&D over the years by Bosch, NGK, and Nippondenso why would anyone use or try anything else? My $0.02.

Yeah, that's why I'm sticking with my Bosch FR6's

Was just curious about these and plus I don't want them causing failure in "MY" P-car.
