R&T just showed up in the mailbox, it says curb weight is 3150, test weight 3310, both estimated.

Oh sure, the F430 will run with the CGT. What's an extra 125 hp anyway.
It would not be far behind, I just dont see why they would give false acceleration numbers. The F430 is fast no doubt 3.5 0-60 give or take it can be 3.6-3.7 but 3.5 is not far off.

LOL, I have a Stradale which is not disimilar to the F430 owing to the reduced weight and the CGT would light that Stradale up like it was a Toyota Camry.

3.8 sec is probably reasonable. But 3.5? Not representative of the car in my opinion.

Here are my thoughts and opinions

I bet they're using a 12 to 16 inch rollout, are at sea level on a cool day, are in a tuned car and using a professional driver to get the 0-60 time into the 3s. If a lengthy rollout is the case a zero inch rollout would add about a half second or so to the time.

The way the average Ferrari owner/driver rolls into the start or bogs along with being shifting challenged you'd be seeing 5 + second 0-60 times and mid to high 12s or even worse in the quarter mile.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

We have a winner.

I know for a fact that they use a "generous" roll out. I know because they told me.

CGT is sick, The F430 is to but the 0-60 times could be a little exagerated. But they wont be far off that sure is right.
