Turbo S
How do you know this?
My best buddy has a Turbo S Cab (like your Robert), and drives it
year round here in the mild season's of MN

, He is currenly sloggingaround slushy, ice packed streets.
obviously the best iteration of the now aged, 996 Turbo. Great Car
One source is the dealship in Newport Beach and the other is plan old marketing information from PCNA.
There is a thread on "How much did you pay for you 996tt." Someone on there did a little statistical review and said that x50/turbo s optioned cars currently being sold should fetch an extra $4300.
I believe the x50 was a $17,xxx sticker price option w/o pccb.
Mike (TTboost),
I was up at the Pike last night and saw a silver 996TT. Dont know if it was your car or not as I didn't find the owner, but seeing the car reminded me of you and this thread... Now that the weather is warmer, we ought to see if we can get together and make a quick video or two. I've a lot going on, but let's start thinking about it if you're still game.

You can't be busier than me!!! PM me and we'll hook up.

2005 Turbo S cars that were manufactured in late 2005 (4/2005) were put together with left over production run parts from 2004. The 20 or so that were built will become the special units of the 996 TT S group.
The 996 Turbo S came with the same engine map as the X50. The options included the ceramic brakes, optional aero kit not available on the 996 TT X-50, and additional badging. It also weighs slightly more than the 996 TT.
The TURBO S car carry about an 8-10k premium over the non S cars from what I've seen around sales.
My transmission also is different. My gearing on my 996 TT S Cab does not match up with other X50 cars I have raced (and I have made this comparison at lease 20 times). I can only get 124MPH out of her in 4th gear to 6800RPM. All of my Drift Box 60-130 times show I have to shift into 5th gear to hit 130MPH.
First and second gears are very low too and give me a quick shot our from the hole. Very similar to the GT2.
When my car was in stock for I raced several X50 cars and they were no match to my heavy Cab. I took them by 1-2 car lengths form a dig.

Start giving some thought to where and how the safest way to pull this off would be. Daylight always makes for better videos and it's always nice to see what isn't hiding in the dark.
I assume you'll want to run on pump gas and regular street tires, but again we can work out the details going forward.
Lets try to stay in touch and get this done...
