What ECU changes do you need to run these on a factory K24 car.

As to the pic above with the destroyed wheel - catalytic is AFTER the turbo so no there should be no chance of that. It's possible the wheel was overspun and exploded perhaps?
I was thinking the same thing.

In this specific situation it was not an overspun but a foreign debris or shaft failure due to oil starvation.
Sorry for the off-topic

The K24 has been out since the middle 90's. I have seen very few failures with this housing. Unless, one has been running lean>>high EGT's will crack the internal casting.

If the turbine housings are cracked>>toss them in the scrap pile.
Kevin,
talked to mike again at blouch. he said the wastegate flapper doors/discs were damaged. on one turbo it is very loose, on the other turbo it is missing. he said because the wastegate was always open, that the exhaust gases go in and ruined the flappers. hope that makes sense to you. when i receive them back, i will snap pictures for ya.

There's a guy selling his K24/18g in the for sale section for $2400. I would look into that.

No if the flappers were open he was bypassing the turbo. He may have been running with just one turbo boosting and the other spinning like mad trying to help - not good. When he slaps working turbos on there it will feel like a new car

last couple months have only seen .9 bar at most, and when decel to around 2k rpms can always hear a exhaust rattle. blouch believes that rattle was the loose flapper. loose flapper, thats sounds funny
anyway, i'm buying "dgreen78" k24/18gs and epl's programming. i'm excited to feel the car performing like it can.

I think you're going to feel like you're driving a totally different car once you get both of your 18g into boost.
