Has anyone here had any issues when installing the "GT2 look" carbon foil on the stock decklid/riser mechanism. These are all made in China and Taiwan and seem to be a good bang for the $.

They are all over the place, all made in China and Taiwan. Many sell them as their own product but the only thing that is their own is the box that they re-pack it in and sell under a fancy name.

 

Might be cheap look or quality. I would not put in mine.

 

I got one its really nice but u have to adjust the hydraulic blades to make it fit

We offer one. Excellent fitment and quality. You can see our reviews from other forum members. 5 minute install. We have a GT2 blade and our own modified design. They are available in Full Carbon Fiber or FRP. The carbon fiber is clearcoated and ready for install. It is about 40% lighter then the FRP blade.

Misha, that is a 997 Turbo blade not a GT2. The problem with yours is that it dos not go all the way down and still allows air between the fixed and variable blades.
