Just a question, what modifications have to be done to use the 997tt intake manifold? From what I've read it is much better than the 996tt correct?

from what i hear the instal is major pain in the ***...some say not worth it unless you are doing other things and have the motor out ....

It is a more efficient intake manifold. I dont know the exact details but a few parts need to be relocated, and there are some holes on the head that need to be sealed that the original intake did. You need to see the head in person to better understand, I hope that helps.

Wow, very tempting, I'd consider it if my 996 didn't already have a new engine put in. Did you install and run the engine?

Yup, the engine has about 14k miles at the most. Even at low boost its a blast to drive. I've done 28psi pulls and its no joke when boost hits, Im smiling from ear to ear
