red is the new silver
red is the new silver
stopped by silverstar porsche yesterday and some of the guys were telling me that silver popularity is waning and that red and black are hottest colors for 2005. i'm slightly impartial to red now but i ALWAYS thought black (esp. when clean) is the nicest color. A good example is Darren's black tt- the combo of black with that color interior is HOT!!! How many of you guys would get the same color again if you could and what color would you switch to?
Thanks Billy for the compliment - I will not do black again I do not think b/c the maintenence is just killer to keep it looking like this
I think the next Pcar will be Speed Yellow or back to Silver

I had a Guards '99, and now a Guards '04. Thought about others, but just couldn't do it. I like just about all of the Porsche colors, but Guards just grabs me.

My other car is black. It's dirty 330 days out of the year. Never get a black car again. If I get another porsche, I'd consider the non metallic flat light grey color. Not sure what they call it. Something that hides dust, dirt, and water stains well.

Now Ferrari's are something else and red looks great regardless of size. Black is nice but shows too many scratches and hides the lines of the car. I'm gonna stick to the various tones of silver Porsche puts out.
