Well it was only a matter of time before our GT2 was due to have a little engine refresh.

I was finding more and more oil in the intake track of IC's and we traced it back to the valve guides.. Odd for a low mileage car but not out of the ordinary as we have had this issue on a few other cars.

I generally don't post engine build/ service pictures but we do this work @ GMG and many of you don't know that we offer this service.


I am going to do a few upgrades to the heads before they get re-installed and will document what we do so you guys can check it out.

Is that he 996 GT2 WC "White Mischief". That is one of my favorite cars - ever. That article is what sold me on 996 Turbo (even though I didn't get a GT2).
