In my eyes the supreme event would be one of 2 things:
Each tuner brings a 996TT and a 996NA
or
Each tuner brings a 996TT and a 993TT
I think either would be awesome!! I would prefer to just keep it 996 as it is still somwhat current, but a 993TT class would be kinda cool...

My Ruf R-GT2 was faster again.
Yellowbird was the fastest.
It was a very wet surface and rained slightly, so none of us went over about 180mph.
The Yellowbird was amazing, it's a really cute little old car, but my god does it go. It only weighs a little over a ton and this one ran 522bhp on the engine dyno at Ruf. It really grips and is amazingly stable at very high speeds. What is noticeable though is how far the interior and braking has moved on in 15 years.

It´s incredible how such an old car can keep the pace and even be faster than those monsters 996.I know your drove all four cars, what´s your opinion on the Ruf Turbo R 4WD with 550hp compared to the GT2?
i really really wish this event would happen. i'm hoping that if there's consistent interest in this thread, perhaps things could get rolling, or at least progress moreso than it already has. though i'm very skeptical it ever will happen, as it would be hard to round up all the different tuners in one place, even if the event could get them to participate as there's not much to prove compared to too much to lose....what a cool idea though.
IMAGINE - manthey, ruf, psi-motorsport, t-t-p, 9ff, techart, fvd, gemballa, rs-tuning, sportec, etc. vs the best of the US - EVO/IA, s-car-go, protomotive, akkurat, speed gallery, etc... it would be fantastic if they had 996 Turbo like a street version and their top-of-the-line street kit come out as well. that is, the entry-mod levels and then the Sportec 800's, the Manthey 700's, RUF Nardo's, EVO 900 etc. in addition, their n/a gt3's would be great to see compete. i would pay a few grand to be able to spectate the event. how great it would be if this would be a reality.......
