We recently developed a full 3" cross-flow, straight pipe that can be run either catted or cat-less with our modular system. It is the internals of our X-flow muffler, less the perforations, packing and skin. This will be on the louder side, flow extremely well and sound absolutley awesome at WOT. For those that like a straight pipe sound...I think you would love this.

I would love some dyno info on this one vs. the original crossflow vs. the 70mm version.

I feel like I lost a bit of tire chirping when I went from the version 1 exhaust with gutted cats to the crossflow with cats. My tuner said it's probably in the range of 15-20hp loss. The sound of the crossflow is among the nicest Ive heard on a tt, so Im dealing with it.

Now, Im shopping again for an exhaust that gives me a good sound and keeps my power band open. This crossflow without mufflers may be my ticket. Will it mount to the cats I already have from existing my crossflow?

If so, Im interested in pricing just the center part as I have the tips and cats.

If you had gone from the twin can, 200 cell conventional version to the 100 cell catted cross-flow, you would have experienced quicker turbo spool, improved throttle response, etc. with the cross-flow - the fact that you went from gutted to cats would account for the difference you are experiencing.

You have a couple of options - for one, yes, I can supply just the new center X-pipe, that is the beauty of our modular system, you are never locked into one sound or performance level - it is very adjustable by varying components. You may also want to consider the optional cat bypass pipes, which would return you to "gutted" performance characteristics.

I agree with you about the sound of the cross-flow. Once you experience it, I don't think you will ever go back to a conventional design exhaust. As you stated "The sound of the crossflow is among the nicest Ive heard on a tt".
