Recommended Indy Shops In The NY Tri-State Area
Can anyone recommend a reputable shop in the metro NY Area? I wouldn't mind traveling to NJ, Eastern PA, or CT if there is a general consensus that a particular shop is worth traveling to. I'm coming up on my first service and would love to find a shop that I could bring my car to.

+1 for EPL. You guys were great. I'm fighting the urge to come up to you for the next round of mods.

the folks at rennwerke porsche (in elmsford ny) look after my car, including a recent 30k service. they do a very thorough track tech as well. i've found them to be honest and trustworthy and they certainly know their porsches. it's helps (when you drop your car off) that they are close to the tarrytown & white plains train stations. i recommend you take the short drive up to elmsford and meet with them.
there are quite a few shops close to the city to choose from. here are some others that came recommended by other porsche owners i know, i met or spoke with their principals as well when i was looking for a shop and suggest you meet/speak with them as well before you make a call.

paul@protosport, pompton plains nj
(rick) deman motorsport blauvelt, ny
hope this helps.

Thanks for all the responses! The car was flashed before i purchased it. I'm not sure who flashed it, but from reading the forum, it seems most people go intake, exhaust, flash for basic bolt-ons. I'll probably end up going that route when getting my first service.

Baby steps. 18Gs make sense given the turbos already on the car. Then I can sell them when I get bored and step up. I need to stay off this board. I used to think that 450hp, crank, out of the box was more than anyone would ever need. This place is dangerous.

At least I'm theoretically limited by the capabilities of the Tiptronic. I don't plan on making any changes there. (I didn't plan on flashing this car, either, but Tony got me with one of his specials. It would've been wasteful NOT to buy it.)
