i am interested in buying a DAS Sport rollbar, but im am 6'2 and i need to be able to put my seat all the way back. does anyone know if the rollbar will prevent me from being able to do that ?

 

Im in the same situation, I started a thread and got reccomendations for a BBI rollbar, but when I did a google search, the DAS one came up, I wonder if its the same.

 

i have heard that DAS sport make the rollbar for the factory porsche gt3rs cars, but i cant confirm that either

 

I think Mike Kelley does, post over a renntrack, he is banned here.

 

I have the DAS bar installed in my car. I am only 5'8" so I can't tell you for sure about how it would fit you. I do have a DIY with photos here:

that might help to show you where the bar sits in the car when it's installed.

I have one on order too. I have the cab so my options were very limited. I will post once I have it in. I am also putting in Sparco seats and 6 point harnesses. Hopefully with this setup I will be able to fit in it with a helmet and not be right up against the cross beam!

 

im 6ft and i have no problems with it at all.. i can move the seat way too far back for me to work the pedals right.. so im sure you will have no issues... enjoy!

 

Installation will be a LOT easier in a cab!
