Question New Rear Wing Question

I have a stock 02 996tt.

Now that I have my rear wing set in the up position with spacers I get the rear wing warning light. As I read the fuse diagram, the same fuse powers the engine latch. Can I jump the connectors for the ram to get rid of this light? What do you guys with GT3 wings do?

Nope, This doesn't work. The wires to the motor and the rams are disconnected. I still get the light after I pass 75 mph and then slow down below 50 mph.

With all of the wing changes here I know someone knows how to fix this?

Hey Tim, I think there are some threads about jumping a few wires to get rid of the light. Othewise, I think you may have to buy the gt2 wing harness (probably pricey).

There is a factory plug for like $75 that came on the Gt2 it deactivates the light.

There is a very simple way to do this for free. Let em know if you have trouble with a search and I'll help you find the link.

I have attached the pics for reference. Just pull the blue wire behind the cylinder shove it behind the black wire and that's it...

Dont spend the money on harness ...it works great for me and has done for about a week now.

I just fixed mine.

But I just unplugged both switches from the ram. Ensured the springs were not depressed and tucked them away.

No more light and the spoiler also stays down.
