Rear adjustible control arms

After lowering my car with Bilstein PSS10 my tires had premature rear inner tire wear so I installed the USP motorsport adjustible control arms, very easy fit ,without these my camber was minimum -1.6 degrees but know you can get camber whatever you like, mine are set at -1.25 degrees so this will prevent the premature tire wear.

lowering may have caused a toe issue as well and that will eat tires much faster than camber

Toe is set at 0.08 so I suppose this will cause no problems anymore, before the adjustible arms toe was 0.15.

Make sure that is toe-in, not toe-out

Adjustable upper arms and toe links are essential for a lowered street driven car. Might as well get the adj toe links and save another alignment later on.

How low do you have to be before the stock adjustment range is exceeded?

I don't think my car is lowered more than 1" in the rear. Given the rear engine, the rear felt like it needed the travel.

My biggest hurdle is that aftermarket adjustable links are thought to be much less forgiving of potholes and can get out of alignment very quickly.

My car is not very low but I couldn't get alligment under -1.6 degrees .
I don't think alligment can change with adjustable control arms driving through potholes because they seem solid to me (at least I hope so)

Rear alignment can change even with adjustable control arms unless you install locking plates. They are what prevent rear alignment changes.

I've heard the same thing. Since the factory control arms and dogbones are not adjustable on the 996 and 996tt, any change in ride hight alters the geometry so adjustability is necesary to achieve stock alignment when the car is lowered. Your car looks great by the way. Love the black wheels on seal grey. That looks like the perfect amount of lowering. That is right where I want mine to sit

Dixie, you car looks perfect! How much lower is the car as reflected in the picture. I'm getting ready to install my pss9's and wouldn't mind my car sitting like yours. Are those 19 or 18-inch wheels. Very nice car (what front bumper is that?)

Those are BBC challenge 19 inch wheels, front bumper is oem but I made some holes in it with a dremel
I'll measure the ride hight tomorrow and post some pictures.
