Trying to install my new BumperPlugs painted center console and all was well until tried to reinstall the storage cubby lid. It seems that the new console has two loops sticking out that the original doesn't and the lid will not attach.

Any ideas. I/ve got a note in to Bumper Plugs but with the holiday just thought I'd try and get some immediate feedback.

 

push/pull the hinge out of the old one ... and reinstall it on the new one ...

Did the exact same thang a few days ago ...

 

Hey - what are you doing with the old console - do you want to get rid of it?

 

So do I cut the plastic hinge loops off the new Silver console? Oh and the old console has to go back to refund core charge.

 

I might have an extra console ...

You dont have to cut it .. you can push that small cylindrical piece of metal to separate the armrest (cover) from the center console ... it comes off really easy ... at least that's waht I did ..

 

Whichever ... ...center console needs painting tho ...
