Just had a pair installed.

Throttle response seems better.

One strange part though. At idle, I feel less vibration with the X73 mounts than with stock. Thought it was going to have an opposite affect.

Interesting...probably your stock units were shot/worn out.

Ho long is the life of the motor mount. I have 2002 with 40K miles. I doubt the previous owner ever change the mount.

Coming from 993, I know the factory mount only last a few years and need to change. Dont know whether the same thing apply to 996TT

I just did the 997T and wevo engine mounts. No downside IMO.

Car does feel more together. You won't notice the difference after a day or two.

I just did the Wevo 997 mounts myself. No extra vibrations. The real test will be in the spring at the track.

Unless your mounts are worn, there really is no preformance benefit/upside to a street car - if you are an extensive tracker, you will get all the benefits described above (better feel/response/ballance at the track).

I know I'm in the minority saying this, but I just don't believe in mods for the mods sake - unless it makes a noticable difference in what I'm trying to accomplish, I don't bother with it.

Wevo hands down. I did the wevo mounts and the 997 trany mount, and next to the gt2 clutch conversion it was one of the best things i have done to the car.

Besides the wevo mounts are just so pretty . . . .

Can you elaborate on why this was such a great upgrade?

I'm not being a smarta**, just want to get your perspective.

***Nevermind, just saw your other thread - looks like your stockers were worn out. They do look pretty too!!
