Hey, if your going to be at friends tomorrow, I can give you a ride in a speedtech 3" crossover exhaust car, Allen has a fabspeed and I think he will be there, and my old 70mm exhaust stayed with another local 996tt that may or may not be there.

I like the sound of mine a good bit (except a 15mph window) but found the cost of parts to be high if you need them later. I had to make new tips when I lost one of mine because of $$ for new ones.. and this is my third exhaust from them.

Seems like Marski, Cargraphic, and Europipe are the well regarded around here and a bad experience seems to be very rare.

McSworley is infamous around these parts
How hard was it to do the sound proofing ?

Did it really cut back on the drone/exhaust noise ? Minimal ? Significant ?

Please put it in perspective for me. If before your sound proofing your exhaust was a 10 (in terms of being loud) and then with the engine off being a 0, after installing the sound proofing how loud was your exhaust sound ?

Where did you buy the material ? what is the name of the material ?

Did you hot glue it down ?

Any other advice ?

Thanks and PLS advise.

I used Second Skin Damplifier Pro 18SQFT . It is a peel and stick product. I cut some of it up to fit in the smaller spaces behind the rear seat. The rear deck is probably the most crucial.

It reduced the noise considerably. No drone at all w/ a Gemballa exhaust.
