Dual in-tank fuel pumps, do you run an aftermarket fuel cooler?

I hear what you are saying, I ran a setup like you describe but what happened to me was one pump was failing... They don't always just stop pumping fuel when there dieing. Lets agree that It DOES work, it is a band aid and can fail resulting in engine damage. A single pump is no harder to install then the nice system you made for yourself there. BTW how are you priming the second pump? the fuel fill line spills in like stock one? separate returns for each and one return goes to each basket?

You are right, but it's no different then running a single pump, you will get the same result with a single pump starting to fail.
Priming is like stock, separate returns and they are crossed, meaning one pump fills the other basket.

^I'm warming up to the idea.

The stock ECU does have independent control of each bank, with the necessary closed loop feedback to compensate/know when a single pump pump is failing right?

Another way to look at it, say one banks fuel system is just slightly off from the other in terms of fpr ramp and/or fuel pressure. The stock ECU again can handle this right?

Is there anything in the stock ECU's programming to expect balanced fuel delivery to both banks?

If all the above is okay, I think the dual pump, with each supporting 1 bank may work just fine.

Im running 2 Walboro 455's 1 to each rail and both rails thru one reg, I have a fuel pressure sender and my syvecs has trips so if it sees pressure fall below X for Y amount of boost it shuts down and goes into limp mode.
