GT3 Wheels on a Turbo (please post your experience)

Will anyone that has put GT3 wheels on a turbo please let me know how the fitment is for you? what the offset on the 8.5" front is and what tires you went with? Is your car lowered at all? RWD or AWD?

Thank you!!

Can you wait until Wednesday??I''ll fit my Gt3 wheels to my 996ttS.The rear offset is 45 (315-35-19) and 53 front (235-35-19).My car has KW V3 AWD.For sure you'll need spacers for the rear wheels (I use 0,9mm)

The previous owner installed GT3 wheels with 7mm front and 15m rear RUFF spacers. Car is lowered. AWD. OEM size tires.

I've replaced them with BBS wheels - but the fit was perfect.

If you can get your hands on the 10 spoke 996 GT2 wheels they will fit better than GT3 wheels (and without spacers). Rears are also 12" wide. They are very rare though

I recently purchased a set of OEM GT3 wheels (sized for the TT -- off a 2004 TT Cab, I believe). The offsets are 45 and the rear on 50 on the front for my car (2003). I think you need spacers for the rears if the wheels are for a GT3 -- 18mm? Not lowered AWD.

I'm running GT3RS wheelset in 19". Here are the offset's:
8.5 x 19 ET53
(I'm running 14mm spacers which is equivalent to ET39)

12 x 19 ET51
(I'm running 7mm spacers which is equivalent to ET44)
To install larger spacers, you would most likely need to roll the rear fenders.

Find the GT3 wheels with the turbo offsets and spacers become optional only for looks as the offsets are perfect. Here's mine pre-lowering:

And I'd love a set of the GT2 wheels if anyone has them.....

GT3 style rims were an option on Turbo S cars.

I'm pretty sure that the front GT3 wheel is an 8" and not 8.5". The GT2 front wheel is 8.5"
