LA Porsche dismantlers any good?
I was looking into GT2/3 front uprights hoping to find a deal and found them to be more expensive than new!?!? I don't have much experience with them and am curious if they are any good?

i tend to not even bother looking at their parts for sale on ebay as there just way too overpriced. That being said, i am not aware of any other porsche salvage yard.
ebay is a good place to find parts

Read their documents and ads very carefully and narrowly interpret what they represent.
They make it sound like they use white gloves and carefully inspect and remove parts, ensuring that only the best get to you...until there is an issue, then it is "hey, we're a junk yard, whaddaya expect?"
Well, unless you are overseas, then it's worse.....
Just based on two contacts and their reputation.

The only issue I have with them is that they usually want 75% of retail new. NOT junkyard pricing IMO. Like some have said it is possible to get better deals from Sunset or Suncoast on some NEW parts. Seems wacky right?

I haven't looked at these guys in a while but you could try Oklahoma Foreign. LAD is too expensive usually. When I use to look for parts on eBay I wished there was a way to block the view of certain vendors with them at the top of the list.

My one and only experience with them. I called and asked for a quote on a part. I was quoted a good price that was about half of new. When I called back a day latter to order I was told the quote was no good. The revised quote was more than a new part quoted by Sunset.
