Justin at Brandywine is a pretty decent guy but make sure you hold him to the price. he sold me a center console for 200.00 more than he quoted me for and charged my card without notifying me. I would be hard pressed to do business again but berfore that he had many sweet deals for me.

Don't know the details in your transaction, but all the CF in my interior along with my rollbar came at a deeply discounted price and all brand new as well. Justin's a stand up guy in my book. Did you ask him about the charge?

i've had similar experiences that took MONTHS to rectify. always told he'd get right on it but never did. finally took me calling Amex and THEN something was done.

i've been overcharged, not refunded on returned stuff that was 100% their fault, sold used stuff that was supposed to brand new, sold aftermarket stuff that was claimed to have been Porsche Tequipment. it'll catch up to him one day.......

it's true he has great deals BUT shady practices have steered me clear. it's simply not worth the stress

and BTW, it's not like i just bought one or two things from him either - i spent approx $10-12K with him in about 18mos.

Im asking about the item specifically.
Is the item a good deal? I am extremely happy with my prior dealings with Justin.

Im sure there is more to that story. They have been excellent with refunds and the such. I also know that they do not mis-represent Tequipment. That is not thier business style. Please explain exactly which items you are referring to if you choose to comment.

Is this item a good deal?

What's the "BUY NOW" price ... only then can you determin if it's a good deal.

At the current bidding price, YES, it's an awesome deal!

You should have just quietly gone for it--now you're going to have competition!

well over a year ago i ordered a four peice aluminum center console. after about 2 months it arrived at the quoted price of $525.oo plus shipping. It was arctic silver, thus i returned it and Justin said he would call me when it came in. Well after a few more weeks i called him and he told me the item had shipped. I asked if he ran my card. He said yes, for $725. He would not stick to his original quote. They may not have thought this but the idea of charging $200 more than quoted previously and just hoping I'd take it because it showed up at the door is not how you do business. i returned it unopened. His justification, his cost went up and therefore he would not stick to his price. i still think i have the email correspondence somewhere.

issues:

1. you don't charge a card without letting a customer know.
2. you don't change the price after the fact, i know that both numbers were great deals for the parts.

I have paid more for my parts and gladly because I want to trust the person i buy from. I think enough of us on this board have spent big money on our cars as a hobby and for me honest business dealings are important for me. That said I believe Justin's reasoning, but the way he went about it was shady and wrong.

Undserstood. However, that sounds to me like a honest mistake and a very rare occasion. Im hoing to bid on the suspension. I think that $799.95 with no reserve is a great place to start.

Even at that price, which is nice, is 1 inch lower worth that to you? That's really all your getting, but for 800, that isn't bad.

Not trying to sell the parts. This is why I do not usually use these forums. Why can't you people discuss the questions rather than throw punches?
