Looks like Lotus packed in alittle something extra for the final editions, as i was shocked to find out the numbers. Through all my research on stock Esprits, none had dynoed over 300rwhp, my car did 344.6 rwhp, 298 ft pds of torque. Thats pretty damn good for a car that weighs 3000pds. Same dyno, Ferrari 360CS made 329rwhp.

 

That is pretty good. What is the tuning plans. ANything internal?

 

That's it ??? I would have thought the rwhp number on a CS would be closer to that of a GT3...which in stock form is about
350-355 rwhp...

Stock GT3 has approximately 325 RWHP.

yes. over a 25% drivetrain loss is very hard to believe on a RWD.

 

Ben...maybe the CS's power is overrated !

PS: Did you ever put your CS on a dyno ?

 

that's highly possible given it's accerlation #s aren't any better than the GT3 which has about the same torque and 45 less hp. a friend of mine's GT3 weighs 3130 wet with roll bar but with GT3 seats (those two probably offset some) while the US Stradale is supposed to weigh less. i've not dynoed my Stradale nor had it weighed.
