Hey Guys, need your advice...

Hello,
Long time lurker and first time poster. We have several Porsches and are looking seriously into a 04 turbo cab. The car is new at a mid west dealer.
They quoted $124 over the phone. The car is silver/ black with average options. What is this car worth on the market. Also, anyone have any idea what the risidual values are on 36 and 48 month leases? Edmunds rates the car very high in terms of depreciation...ie wont lose the usual 50% in 36.
Please help folks! I want to surprise my wife!
TC

Dude I live in Harrison Pond off Morse! Anyway...That seems a little bit high to me but im guessing Cab prices will sky rocket in the next few months. Also I'm sure a lot of people are looking at that car this week with all the nice weather we have been having around here.

i think amgetr had one for sale with many options and could not sell. with the 997s cab out with near TT like performance i'd probably buy at much less but i don't know the market that well.

spring is in the air and there is nothing like a cab and dealer asking prices have increased. i am not sure about the selling price.

The car is worth dealer's cost at best - about 17% off list - although I'm not sure you'll buy it for this. Used, it's probably worth $105k. To give you an idea how soft the market is, I bought a used (321 miles) '05 TT "s" Cab for $20k off list.
