997 Turbo, GT3, GT3 RS Brake Master Cylinder?

Does anyone know if these are a different part number?

I'm running 997 Turbo Brakes all around and the rear calipers require more fluid resulting in a bit more initial pedal travel than I'd like. Otherwise, these brakes are great! Much more fade resistant (very similar to 9996 GT3 front setup with even bigger 4 post rears). Anyone know if any of the 997 master cylinders can be retrofitted to the 996? Even a small change in piston size will make a big difference in pedal feel.

Are you sure that there is no air in the system and that the fluid is topped off? Reason I am asking is I upgraded to the 996GT3 brake system, front and rear. After installation I had long pedal travel. My tech re-bled the brakes and the pedal travel was the same as before the upgrade. You may be right that the 997TT brakes need more fluid, I don't have the knowledge to tell you that. Just thought I'd give you something else to consider.

The 996 GT3 has a 6piston fronts and 4 piston rears. The 997 Turbo uses almost identical 6 pot calipers up front but had larger 4 pot pistons acting on 350mm rotors. The REAR brakes (for the 997TT) in my setup require more fluid compared to any factory 996 setup.

I will however have my tech bleed the system.

You could call Suncoast and ask them if all the master cylinders are the same for all the cars.

I have GT3 6-piston brakes up front. It would be great to have some type of master cylinder upgrade w/o extensive modifications.
