Can I come to the next Shoot out?
Can I come to the next Shoot out?
Here's a picture of Loren Beggs finished project from 911 Design that I've been working on with him (about 1/100th as much as he has though). As we were taking these pictures he turned to me and asked, "Hey, you think I could take this to the next shoot out, I could drive it there on a dealer plate" Now, what would you do if you saw this thing drive down the street!!! All I could say was, not only do you have a nice car but a really good sense of humor too. Someone else standing there refered to it as the 2005 935 (if they were to have made one). Regardless of what you call it, one thing for sure, it's nothing less than a land ROCKET!
A few of it's features:
Started life as a Factory Super Cup car
Twin Turbo charged Super Cup engine that put it about 850 HP at 0.9 Bar (safely capable of 1.5 bar!!) with an 8000 RPM redline.
Motec ECU and Dash with more sensors than you can count including Traction Control
and partial throttle boost control.
Custom DP Motorsport bodywork with the intercooler located in the back seat shelf
Kinesis 13 X 18 Front wheels and 15 X 18 (28.5 tall rears tires)
Racing ABS with Adjustable dual master cylinders
Light weight Brembo 8 piston calipers with 15" short annulus rotors
The car is light all things concidered.
And of course it has a bunch of bells, whistles, and tricks from ERP on the suspension including ERP modified JRZ triple adjustable shocks.
The car will be out at The POC enduro this weekend at Fontana ... drop by and check it out....

Cary,
I love the sound of that! Sounds a little familiar.
