What is with boxster owners????
Due to the great weather the mid-west has been recently experiancing I saw a bunch of fellow Porsche owners this weekend with whom I exchanged various friendly gestures except for boxster owners that is. I saw three different boxsters all being driven by guys and each one I flashed my lights and waved and even though they looked and saw they I got no wave or anything back. What is that? I really hope Porsche isn't gonna be like Ferrari where owners become to cool to wave or aknowledge other porsches on the road. BTW all 4 911 guys waved back!
My only guess would be that boxsters do not have the exclusivity and comraderie that Porsches usually carry since MY 98's can be had for ~$15K. The boxsters have made Porsches affordable to all, well almost all.

Well Cayenne owners are the worst. I just gave up flashing my lights at them.

The best group of wavers i've ever experienced are corvette owners, it may just be that there are a lot of them, but i've yet to pass one while driving ours and they didn't wave.
Audi owners aren't too bad but I find most soccer moms and middle-aged men in A6's and A8's actually wave more than other people my age in A4's and S4's. Most teenagers with S4's must think they are too badass to be waving at a measily 1.8T and the A4 owners are usually chicks that have an AWD car because their parents thought it would be safe, granted there are alot of hot Audi chicks!
I love seeing sport bikes and chopper guys waving to each other, totally opposite styles yet it's that anything on two wheels comraderie. Makes me want a bike badly.

Mr Choi: I'm not offended or anything I just think its funny.
MANA: I wasn't trying to ***** I just think its funny because the regular 996 and boxster owners have made a few threads where they say Turbo owners are too arrogant to wave to them. Im sorry I didn't realise this would offend you, but thanks for being mature about it.

So far supra owners are the best, we both freak out when we see each other on the road. The m3 waves are terrible since its alot of mothers that wanted the top model 3 series and not true enthusiast.
