larger post in the GT3 forum. Sad, but preventable. I feel bad for his family and for the family of his unwitting passenger. I'm sure he didn't plan to die that way.

It's a shame, he was a nice guy. There was a BMW guy I know that was personal friends with him and always used to talk about how cool and relaxed he was. What a tragedy.

+1. RIP, but we need to be safe out there. There are some hazards that we can't control, but others that we can try to.

I never would have guessed it was a gt3 either if it didn't say that in the article. Such a sad and preventable tragedy.

There is certainly a gloomy irony to the jackass charecter and antics of the stunts and this horrible tragedy ... perhaps in a positive twist, Johnny Knoxville, Bam and the others can use this somehow to deter their jackassery raving viewers from repeating this kind of DD fatality.
