225/45/18 Tire
1) The 245/40/18 and 335/30/18 BFGoodrich KDW combo is only 902 dollars shipped to me. A 235/315 combo would cost at least a few hundred more.
2) I don't track the car and this is largely for appearance. I like the large tire look.
If I could get the 235/315 combo for the same price I would likely just do that but you cant. With that combo and street tires you pretty much only have the PS2 or Conti which are way to expensive.

You are correct I have RS2 rears and RS3 fronts. Great tires IMO. I do run them at 39 PSI rear and 33 front. They grip like hell and ride very smooth. The 265 can very much be felt in reduced under-steer, even on the street. There is zero rub.
I believe the offsets are ET 46 front 9.5" and rears are ET 45 12" (I run this with a 15mm spacer).
A 245/40-18 easily fits on the stock fronts and is a perfect match for a 315/30-18 that also fits on the stock rears in this brand/setup. I have that setup on my stock wheels....
WTF do I need 3 sets of wheels/tires for? Don't know
