I think the middle picture is what they call posterize . Not sure but on my Thunderbolt phone it has one of the settings on the camera . Not to say that my phone would take a great picture like the one you took .

this is a great free program to assist in the end result you see here.

Of coarse, you still need to take the HDR (bracketed) images before using the software.

They are cool and fun for about 2 seconds...but if you use this forum to view parts and different setups to get ideas for your own car then these do not depict what the car actually looks like (unless your on acid).
You should look into joining a photography forum to learn about all those cool editing effects you can do
