Tire shop that will not damage rims in Orange County?

Can someone recommend a tire shop in Orange County, California that will take the time not to scratch rims, jack car from proper points and not use power tools to remove lug nuts (which does a nice job of scratching the inside of the lug nut holes on the stock wheels) - also, of course balancing equipment that is trustable, etc. Just need to replace my rears - Michelin Pilot Sport Rib N1 295/30/18 - stock wheels are perfect and want to keep them that way!, thanks.

Try GMG. They should have the proper equipment.

http://gmgracing.com/

They are also a dealer of AWE Tuning branded products.

It all depends on the person doing it. The shop name means nothing.

Drive to Lucent. Grand prix replaced a tire for me and they were a bunch of ******. I'd rather drive my wheel to Lucent and have Tom do it.

or shoreline, top notch shop (and if you are lucky you'll get to check out one of Chip Foose's newest creations as he has something in there almost everyday)

Driving to LA would be stupid to have a tire put on IMO

Obviously you are not a Lucent customer. Oh wait, Lucent generally works on Porsches, not old Chevys.

Bond, save yourself the trouble and go see Arling and Tom at Lucent. They have the most advanced balancing and alignment equipment, and most of us swear by them, even for the smallest of things. Why mess with perfection?

Was that suppose to be some kind of insult or something? You are pretty quick witted Tyson

I bet Arling will tend to agree that driving all the way down there to get tires put on probably doesn't make that much sense. If it was serious work it'd be logical. Keep in mind, i'm not taking anything away from lucent.

I betcha Arling wouldn't agree...

There is no need to insult you. Your 4,000+ posts on this board about nothing speaks volumes on its own. Maybe if you actually owned a Porsche you'd have something smart to say.

Agreed, hence why I sent him to a shop I think is more then qualified to handle the job as well

Technically you take a chance no matter where you go, i'm sure Tom could **** up as easily as anyone else. It's a matter of how they handle the **** up that makes the situation a good or bad one. I have no doubt that if something did happen Shoreline would be as quick to please as Arling would. I know many high end local shops that use them and trust them. Hell if Chip trusts them w/ his 20K one off's I'd think they'd be pretty reliable

But seriously, i'm not here to start an argument
