A couple more pics, you can see the e30 project I have in the background... she needs a ton of work, but it's a go-cart and parts are insanely inexpensive comparatively. She'll get an M50/S50/S52 swap eventually.

Maybe you can photoshop the wheels first so you can decide which way you want to go.
I avoided the dark center because it hides the design from a distance.
I would go with a darker center, but not quite black.
I did the whole black thing on my JB e46 m3, looks better on silver / grey than white IMO.
