Does anyone make a carbon fiber airbox for a 996 GT2? I cannot find one.

I have seen this one, but it requires more modifications than I am looking for. What I really want is a direct replacement in carbon fiber; the same structural design as OEM, just carbon fiber. Is it too tall of an order?

 

Send yours out to McCarbon. They can wrap anything.

 

Surprisingly, I don't think anyone makes what I am looking for. I would have thought more 996 owners would want something like that.

Thanks, but this is almost the same as the previous version in the thread (Vividracing), which converts to a dual intake. What I was hoping for is something that is just like the OEM airbox, just made of carbon fiber, retaining the OEM single-sided intake on the right side. I don't want to have to modify the lid for a GT2. I am just looking for a bolt-in replacement part in carbon fiber.

 

But this is the original, others are copies, this one fits nicely, the others don't really.

Being located in Brussels, this must be Mr Sportec. We have sold over 100 of these boxes with no issues. If you want one for your GT2 with no left side hole, just order it custom from me.

 

Can you do the entire airbox, and not just the front/top cover?
