Some like stock, some don't; personally, I don't. Like q8 said, the car, with the new wheels, will look 100 times better if the car is lowered.

Another option will be painted the inner lips black and outter lips red; I think that will look good too.

MY996TT - thanks for the advice. Painting the new wheels is not an option for me and lowering would probably have to wait until I figure out the suspension mod direction. Right now, I just want to enjoy this beautiful car which I can't until I decide whether to keep the wheels or not. I do not want to put any miles on the wheels if I am not keeping them. I will put the stock wheels back on tonight and go from there.

If anone is looking for a new set of HREs, please send them in my direction! Thanks.

I love the black 5 spoke HRE's, I am not a fan of the alum lips though...

Either way the car looks really good.

If you are not feeling to color it would not be big cash at all to have HRE re-spray in another color. Or is there another reason you can not re spray them.

Or if you can return them then why not. There is a wheel thread with may foto's.

think of it this way, get one of these and you won't ever look at the wheels.

Engine Guy - yes, one of those WILL make me forget about the wheels.

Thanks everyone for the advices. The wheels are coming off and will be on sale with a heavy discount. Maybe the sale will help towards a suspension or exhaust mod. I am so done with wheels for a while.

I am selling my vellano 19" to go to 18" black oz alleggerita. I like black on our guards red cars, but the 19'' do not work well in combination with lowering with pss10s. You can dial in alignment much better.

They are from "Vellano" who are located in California I believe. They do look good I think, but I am wanting to do the odd track day, and the 19'' wheels are hard to dial in with lowering on my pss10s. I would sell them if you are interested.

here is your best bet. take a better side profile shot of the car.
post it online. have someone photoshop the car lowered, and tinted, and then see if you change your mind.

you can easily work the car around those wheels...
smoke the top of your tail lights slightly... lower the car.. .tint the windows... smoke the side marker lights....polish the lips, throw some armor-all on the tires and see how your like it then.

personally, i think you can pull off a euro type look. i hope youre running a 315 rear tire...

Mikelane - thanks for the offer but I am done with wheels for a little while. Your car does look sweet. I wanted stick with 18s from the beginning.

Steve K - very creative ideas, I can see some of it in your car and it looks good. I am running 295s, sorry.
