Here is an additional tip-DON'T DO THIS WHEN ITS HOT!

I touched up a few areas and was amazed by how quickly the paint dried on the leather. This is a project for sub 70 degrees I think.

Any updates on how this looks after a little wear? Does the red start wearing off in the areas with frequent contact?

It does wear on areas that are touched, like drivers door panel. But, touch up is quick and easy.

update

Thought I'd post an update.

Paint on threads requires touch up and eventually gets dirty enough to lose some color on any surface that gets wear or is horizontal.

I am kinda obsessive and decided to do something a little strange (according to my wife):

I took the seat covers off (front and rear), e-brake cover and replaced the stitching with red thread. No, I'm not insane (I'm actually a psychologist )

I like the red thread better but this only works on the seat covers and other removable pieces (I couldn't figure a way to do this on the door panels)

I'll post some pics when the sun rises
