Cosmetic mod-dyed leather stitching
Used a Elmers paint pen in red, paint on about 6 inches and then wipe off with damp towel.

Threads were originally pale black/grey/white-not sure since they are likely dirty.

The effect is subtle with one coat, i'm going to apply a second and maybe third coat soon.

I suggest somebody wears a white under shirt and go on a long drive to test color fast. It would suck to find out on your wifes designer outfit on your anniversary or something. Just a thought.

This seems to be really popular for Camaro guys to do this, but their stitching is white to begin with. Ours is more of a dark gray...
