You don't need to pull the tranny or lower the engine. More than enough space to install the gt2 mod.

My biggest issue with doing the Gt2 conversion is sourcing out the parts. I read your thread about the hose and what not.

I can just replace the oem parts for under $500 and do the work myself (with the assistance of my friend and mechanic)

If I could do the Gt2 under 1k i would do it. but at this point I am tired of pissing money away into cars, Not this car but in general I have wasted too much money into this "hobby" lol

sign of failing slave or clutch accumulator or both. this can also lead to power steering pump failure. rather then replacing stock slave and accumulator you are better off doing a GT2 hydraulics conversion. OEM parts you need cost 380 shipped and the custom billet bracket is 200 shipped. so you are at 580 + labor. GT2 hydraulic line wroks just fine, i have been using it for over a year and half.

Parts you need, Pelican Parts is the cheapest for all of them.

Slave Cylinder 99611623790
Master Cyl 99642317106
clutch assist spring 99642308113
hydraulic line 99642337790
DOT4 brake fluid
Billet Bracket for GT2 slave

Optional is the DOT4 cap so down the road a tech doesnt put it Pentosin. I dont have the part # but it is the same part as your brake fluid cap.

Just had my system swapped last month for same issue. Annoying everything felt fine. Went with stock again.

Agreed. It can be a bit of a pain mounting the slave bracket to the trans blindly, but it's not impossible. Plus if you're using jack stands you can just take a nap when you get tired or frustrated
