New plan: 19x8.5 or 9.0 and 19x11 rears

Not sure if I will be satisfied with the look of a 8.5 and a 11 in the rear after my 9.5 and 12 inch rear dreams.

I am looking into the forgestar CF10's which can be made into any of set, however they have only brought in the 8.5 9.0 and 11's for our cars.

Are there any certified wheel bits here that can help me with my decision I want a some what meaty tire and still be very flush with the fender. I am on pss9's for suspension. If I do the 8.5's or 9.0 in the front and 11's in the rear are there any offsets you guys could help me out with making these wheels flush and look right any tires sizes you guys recommend for this setup? Obvisously my dream of the 265 fronts will no longer work. TIA --Rob

Go to Tire rack and play with sizes and specs. You have many choices most of which unfortunately are not ideal *(minor rubbing and ratio not ideal) but will work. You can be a bit off F/R ratio and be ok. There are many threads on this.

For the least drama, still have some meat and cost I like 245/3519 and 295/30/19. the width of wheel should help the sidewall sit better than a 305 on an 11 (very tall) or a 245 on an 8.5 (rubs too much).

Best of luck

Many people including myself have run this set up. Your pushing it but not going to blow up a diff or anything. We are just limited on choices now.

Rob, remember you are RWD, so no worries on the tires sizes front to rear...and you also have the spacers...7mm front and 15mm rears...if you still have them on...you will also notice a slight loss in performance going to a 19" wheel...

I run the following set ups:
19x9 ET39 with 235/35/19 PS2 and 19x12 ET44 with 315/25/19 on the street,
18x9 ET42 with 235/40/18 NT01 and 18x12 ET44 with 315/30/18 NT01 for a track set up.

There is no rubbing with either set up even though clearance is very tight. Car is at GT2 ride height with -2.2 camber front and -2.0 camber rear. Rear fenders are rolled just like factory GT2.

I have run the narrower 19x11 ET35 rears on 315/25/19 PS2s and the wheel was very flush with no rubbing issues.

Actually, the CF10 in 19s are available in 19x12 for WB fitments as well. We can do a 19x9F and 19x12R for optimal grip.

Let us know if we can be of any help

I'd stick to the 8.5" front. 9s can rub on lowered cars with a nice offset.

Just as 9" will work fine with the correct offset, an 8.5 or even an 8" wheel can be made to rub with an incorrect offset....

I had 8.5 , 9.0 and 9.5 fronts and 11.0, 11.5 and 12.0 rears over the last 5 sets of wheels I had on my car. My advice is based on my experience and not info I regurgitate from other threads. Suspension setups and tire brands/sizes vary too.

Your negative camber up front helps fit a 9 for sure along with a nice aggressive offset. Can you post a pic of et39 front. I want to space out my current set in the front a bit.
