Two thumbs down, This guy made me feel as if i was waisting his time. Called me out on a tire fitment, Considering he sells wheels not tires why would he even bother. "He told me i needed to do my homework dude" lol He was trying to challenge me during the entire conversation.
Still on the hunt for rims....

Sorry to hear that, but thanks for the warning! I'm looking for forgestars too. I had a deal lined up with a user from here but he bailed on me at the last minute. Completely stopped responding to my emails. But I'm working with another user now, so hoping for the best!
Order from Matt at Campioni Shop, a sponsor here. He knows what you need and if there is a problem he will take care of it. Forgestar is a bit of a PITA to work with so you need to have Matt talk to them. I have a set of F14's coming in about 6 weeks or so.
Well to be fair to the guy, since we don't here his side, you were the one that was originally going to put 265's on 9.5 inch rims up front and all of us on here told you basically the same thing.
thats all on a 9.0 inch rim, i'm sure that it would work on a 9.5 as well. I am also rwd.

Read that thread you reference - people running that size had to make modifications for the 9" rim with 265's to fit and some still had rubbing issues.
Forgestar is a manufacturer and focus mainly on wholesale as their main business model. They are not set up to handle retail sales.
Additionally if you asked for a 9.5 w/ 265 tire fitment I can see why they questioned your fitment. You would need to determine your preferred offset and there is no way we could guarantee a rub free fitment.
+1

RWD or AWD doesn't matter with the fitment issue. Unless you run major front camber and modify the radiator mount, you will rub. If you just slap on some 265's on 9.5 inch rims it will rub, which is probably the point that the Forgestar rep was making - granted he could have worded it better.

Thats fine, But how did he know if i was or was not going to do something to make them fit? All i am saying is that i am in sales as well, Simply stated and excuse my language but that guy was a dick!!!simple as that. Maybe i did not have the exact tire size right maybe i was thinking of something else. But was it necessary for him to treat me as he did? Answer is no.
I have set of 9.5" forgestar fronts running a 265 front tire with no rub.
That said, I think the poster needs to understand that going with an extreme fitmnet has some aspect of experimentation and fitment which implies a certain amount of risk of damaging your car or ordering tires and wheels that won't fit. You can't expect the wheel manufacturer to give you a thumbs up on such a fitment as that implies some form of "approval " from them. That puts them in a tough position. The poster needs to understand that.

Just wanted to see what fits up front. I'm running Hankook RS3s. Had some extra time and my mind went bonkers... I just saw someone 13" rears on a 997T... who knew?
Forgestar recommended the offset (but not the 265s
) I believe they are 46 offset in the front.
