I got bit

By the mod bug!!! I put on my new forgestars that I got from another member here yesterday and now I've spent all day thinking of things I want to do to my Turbo. After seeing the wheels on, this every day race car needs more. I'm going to hold off on a flash for a bit in case it requires a new clutch. I am thinking of doing some small things to start with, like mirrors and inlets. Anyone have some good relatively lower cost small suggestions?

Those are really the only three mods that anyone considering mods should do. These cars turn into absolute monsters with Tune, Exhaust, and Suspension alone.

Suspension, Exhaust, Tune in that order. The stock suspension is not even up to the perfomance capabilities of a stock motor. The exhaust is too restrictive so it best to do this before a tune to get the full bang for the buck of a tune. After that consider better motor and tranny mounts and the 997SS kit. You can also put it on a diet and drop about 200lbs without a lot of work or money.

Glad you are happy with the wheels

+1 on the suspension, exhaust, tune route

Most if not all "Stage I" tunes will be fine without upgrading the clutch.

Speaking the truth.. BBI did a protomotive flash on my car and it's night and day. My next round is IPD Plenum & exhaust, then suspension... then bigger turbos It is a sickness but when you see how these cars respond to mods you can't help it.

Ok I guess I should have listed what I already have. It is already lowered on H&R sport springs. I will be going with coils at some point but not right away. Also already has tint. It has Evoms headers, and I believe some modification to the stock muffler as it is quite a bit louder than any other stock exhaust turbo I've heard. I'll do a tune at some point, but I want to wait until I get tired of the car the way it is now. I've tuned a lot of cars before and it's always like a whole new car, so I want to get tired of this one first. I think I may go with seats and some little things first. Maybe some little cosmetic things to set it apart.

I tracked my car for 2 years with a flash on the stock clutch, no problems. Just don't do burnouts and you will be fine. Abuse it and it will fail.

The highest I've seen is .8. Are there any tuners that allow you to switch between tune and stock? I had that with my Audi from APR.
