K16 Billet VS K24/18g turbos.
I'd like to see it, at 1.1 bar on cali 91 octane, I'm at around 525WHP. I've seen threads saying a 75MM TB and intake plenum shifts the RPM to the left also. Typically as part of a group buy thread, I'm not into the hype. Often hard to sort out what's hype on these forums and whats not, also seems as confusing as to whether or not I would see the benefit at my power level.
My best move may be methanol injection and intake piping, then re-assess from there. I assume I would be able to turn to the boost up to 1.3/1.4 bar and pickup 60WHP or so ..

I must say that I love my billet k16s. They spool quick and the car accelerates hard to redline. I also have supporting mods such as clutch, inlets, intercoolers, exhaust, and 72lb injectors/tune.
I have driven an alpha28 car with similar mods and the alpha's seem to pull harder up top. I just love the responsiveness of the billet K16s though, even at part throttle around .7 bar the car feels really good.

It is a very fun car to say the least.
IF k24/billets have a hard time putting down 600rwhp on pump how does one expect to do that with k16s on pump? please explain that... mind you a turbo is never 100 % efficient... not even close...
Its really not that easy or the dyno is happy... lets get real guys...
for example, a A3076s with supporting mods will do 600 whp at 1.15 to bar... how do you expect a k16 do that on pump?

The billet k16s with supporting mods made 585whp / 565wtq with room to grow. I'm looking to go with a catless 3" no mufflers, retune and race tune. I might go with meth as well, but it seems there is no real need considering my goals with this set up are 600whp/600wtq and it looks like that should be very attainable on pump gas and more on race.

Honestly, I am unsure whether that is awhp or rwhp. The car was dynod by the previous owner. I want to say that it was awhp because I do not recall Ed (the previous owner) saying that the driveshaft was disconnected, etc. I plan to dyno the car locally after I change out my coilpacks, add a 3" exhaust and hopefully retune.
Agreed ...
Not sure what pipe they are smoking, plus he mentioned that he didn't even need the meth
Meth is about 115 octane if I remember correctly, combine that with 93 pump, depend on the nozzle size etc, you have to be over 100 octane mixed, probably closer to 105.
Take that out of the equation, that is probably about 50WHP right there at least. Alll I know is that I'm doing about 525WHP peak on 91 with K24/18g's on BBI's dyno dynamics AWD dyno.
They had another car on the same dyno on 91 (with slightly different setup, more mods, same turbos) and it made around 545WHP if my memory serves me right.
I know cali 91 sucks, but I find it hard to believe that K16 billets are making 600WHP on pump, that is well over 700 at the crank.

I just got my k24/18 billets tuned at EPL on their Mustang dyno and I put approx 540rwhp and 640rwtq on 93 pump and 1.275 bar boost request. I'd find it hard to see a k16 putting down 600 wheel myself. Not saying it can't happen I just don't see it easily attainable.
