Agreed. My personal car traps 130.

Sam,

Is this a 16G car or a 16 billet car?

Any supporting mods at the time this run took place?

I can tell you that a speedtech Y pipe and a 74mm IPD plenum/tb
make a HUGE difference in spool and overall performance on
smallish turbos.

John, I'm running your Y pipe on my 850 whp car. It's been modified to
accommodate 2 tial 50mm blow off valves.

Hi Randy,

Yea, I agree...not sure why it's not trapping higher - 11.3 is good, but 125 trap seems low...I trapped 127 on old school K16/24's and 1.2 bar tune when I was running that set-up, but I had our hard inlet pipes installed...

lol By "hard time" I mean skeptical.

And I haven't seen quarter mile times with these mods either and I
never to my car to the track when I had this setup.

I know Todd ran mid 10s in the 130s with his 16g and now John says
his 16 car trapped 130. I never got a 1/4 slip but my car was a full
half second quicker 60-130 than Todds car. And with the way the setup
makes power, it's reasonable to believe it'll trap 130s.

Hey, I haven't taken my current setup to the strip either but I know it'll
trap 150s.......if the axle holds up lol.

trapping 130 sounds promising...I'm soon to be mark's k16 billets/injectors/exhaust....stockish weight and 94 oct.
I might have to head out to the track to see what it does...

Its all the supporting mods that will help those turbos,,as with any build..
But those 16s are excellent on the street with out major supporting mods either,,that's why its a a great bang for the buck turbo..

A lot has to do with the installation and set up... takes more then just slapping on an exhaust, injectors, ICs, and turbos...
Randy had the patience and will to do it... We gave him one fast k16 billet car... I knew it the moment I came back from the first test drive...

lol I should've stopped while I was ahead!

But I got the OMS. (Obsessive Modification Syndrome.)

I remember you came back with a big grin on your face and
you said," it's quick" Then you took Marcin for a ride and he
said it was faster then most gt30 cars he'd driven.

My 16g setup had a faster 60-130 than the new Porsche 918.
